V2 Peptide Pen Calculator

Calculate concentration, required liquid volume, and the exact V2 pen setting in whole units.

V2 only: 1 unit = 0.01 mL · whole-unit increments · maximum single setting 60 units (0.60 mL).

Calculator

Enter the amount of research material originally in the vial. mL Enter the total liquid volume used to prepare the solution — not the amount currently left in the pen. Enter the desired dose.
This calculator converts based on the values you enter. It is not recommending a research dose to be used.

How the Calculator Works

A simple way to convert a prepared concentration into the corresponding whole-unit setting on the SilverLeaf Bio V2 peptide pen.

Find the concentration

Divide the amount of research material by the total liquid volume to determine the concentration of the prepared solution.

Concentration (mg/mL) = Amount (mg) ÷ Total volume (mL)

Convert to a V2 pen setting

Divide the desired research amount by the concentration to determine the liquid volume, then convert that volume into the corresponding whole-unit setting on the V2 pen.

Volume (mL) = Desired amount (mg) ÷ Concentration (mg/mL)
V2 units = Volume (mL) × 100

Quick Calculation Examples

Here are some examples showing how concentration, desired amount, and V2 pen units work together.

500 mcg target

Using a 5 mg/mL solution, calculate the liquid volume and U-100 syringe setting for a 500 mcg target amount.

500 mcg = 0.5 mg
0.5 mg ÷ 5 mg/mL = 0.10 mL
= 10 units

What happened: A 0.5 mg amount represents 0.10 mL of this prepared solution, corresponding to 10 units on the V2 pen.

15 mg in 3 mL

A 15 mg preparation with a total volume of 3 mL also produces a concentration of 5 mg/mL.

15 mg ÷ 3 mL = 5 mg/mL
0.25 mg ÷ 5 mg/mL = 0.05 mL
= 5 units

What happened: At this concentration, 0.25 mg corresponds to 0.05 mL, or 5 whole units on the V2 pen.

20 mg in 2 mL

A 20 mg preparation with a total volume of 2 mL produces a concentration of 10 mg/mL.

20 mg ÷ 2 mL = 10 mg/mL
1.5 mg ÷ 10 mg/mL = 0.15 mL
= 15 units

What happened: The stronger concentration means 1.5 mg occupies 0.15 mL, corresponding to 15 V2 pen units.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about the V2 Peptide Pen Calculator and whole-unit settings.

The calculator first determines the concentration of the prepared solution, then converts the desired research amount into liquid volume and the corresponding whole-unit pen setting.

The V2 pen uses a U-100 style scale, where 1 unit corresponds to 0.01 mL of liquid volume.

A stronger concentration requires less liquid volume for the same research amount, while a weaker concentration requires more liquid volume. The unit setting therefore changes with concentration.

The V2 pen is designed for whole-unit settings only. The calculator therefore displays whole-unit results rather than fractional unit settings.

The V2 pen dial is designed for settings from 1 to 60 units per selection.

No. The calculator only converts the values entered into concentration, liquid volume, and pen units. It does not recommend or determine an appropriate research amount.
